WHY PHA?

Nowadays, bioplastic production accounts for only 1% of total plastic production. As a biodegradable and biocompatible polymer, PHA offers an alternative to the petroleum-based bottles with its excellent properties.

  • PHA is a biopolymer obtained from 100% renewable resources without additives.

  • Compared to other alternative materials, PHAs have a wide range of melting temperature, glass transition temperature, and thermal decomposition temperature.

  • Besides, PHAs have splendid mechanical properties such as flexible Young's modulus, elongation at break and tensile strength.

  • Moreover, PHAs are heat- and UV-resistant.

  • PHA is capable of efficiently adhering to materials like paper.

  • PHA is FDA approved and  better than many rivals at maintaining the quality of food and other stored products
